I got a ticket for jaywalking today. I’m not kidding. $37. I could’ve used that money to buy this book and a pint of Guinness. Ah, to hell with it: I WILL use that money to buy this book and a pint of Guinness. Not that I’ll be traveling to Ireland any time soon. Nor do I drink beer. This will be a literary act of pure spite. Crazy cops. Ridiculous.
